"A Piece of Me" A Jermaine Smith Stageplay
Jermaine Smith is an American playwright, producer and director. Smith's stage play, A Piece of Me was birthed out of his personal testimony, which was based on forgiveness, infidelity, alcoholism, homelessness, honesty, as well as verbal and physical abuse. A Piece of Me deals with everyday issues, and offers various viewpoints on change. It also empowers those who have experienced broken homes, witnessed or was a victim of physical or verbal abuse, and to those who may be suffering from the stronghold of bitterness and the inability to forgive.
How long have you been writing? What drove you to pick up that pen for the first time?
I can recall writing poems, melodies for songs, and short stories from as early as the age of eight.

My design style is very clean, elegant, sometimes simple but attractive. I design by the way I feel. It is like how an artist feels when painting a masterpiece.

Shireen Benjamin A New Miss West Africa Has Arrived
Shireen Benjamin, 22, from Sierra Leone has been crowned Miss West Africa 2009. This is the second ever Miss West Africa and also the second from Sierra Leone to carry the title. The event was filled with amazing highlights and performances from Levi Roots (Founder of Reggae Reggae Sauce), Robert Milner (Violinist on the night), C'MAD and many of the talented pageants. The judges were Pauline Long founder of the Befftas, Kay B international R&B singer and star, Junior Green British hair award winning stylist, Ian Wedgewood from Mind studios, Anoosh UK Celebrity Stylist, Emilio founder of West Coast Promotions, Sinem popular African media journalist.
